Hello all,
It has been announced that we will be updating our website in the past few weeks. Our changes have been finalized as we rolled out a beta version this past month which has been announced on the main website. With the new updates, we have also brought a much better look and functionality to our website. We are going to be rolling out the changes in the coming days before the end of this month.
Here's a detailed list of the changes and what you should expect:
- New Website: a lightweight, fast, and reliable new website with a better user interface.
- Guides: This is part of the CTP Weekly Tips and Interviews and Old CTP Addis content that is mostly intended to be educational. Whenever there are new posts for the community about what to do when applying to college such as preparing for exams or how to search for colleges, the posts go here.
- CTP News: Announcements like the ones we do on Telegram, CTP statement releases, bulletins, and organizational updates. The website contains some of our recent announcements.
- Podcast: this is a site dedicated to our podcast. Podcasts will be posted on here and other podcast platforms such as Spotify, Google Podcasts & Apple Podcasts
- Forum: this is a lightweight forum based on Discourse that we host on our own server and it is like Piazza Forum, but much better and easier to work with. It will be a platform to discuss college applications and questions will be answered!
- myCTP: this is CTP's LMS(Learning Management System) instance on our server that we use for online learning. It used to be found at my.ctpethiopia.org, but we have allocated a separate domain for technical reasons.
Tech: this is a documentation website that we actively work on to include helpful articles and guides on how to use CTP's systems.
Support: this is our ticketing system that people can use to submit technical errors, etc.
- Status: This is CTP Ethiopia's status page. You can check the performance of our systems by visiting the status page.
We hope our updates will bring a much better experience to your use of CTP's systems. If you need help or have questions, please feel free to email us at admin@ctpethiopia.org or create a support ticket.
Thank You,
Aaron & the Tech Team 🙂
